Honda Upcoming Bikes in India 2019

The numerous two-wheeler makers are trying to capture the Indian two-wheeler market in 2019 by introducing their flagship and iconic motorcycle in the auto bazaar. As we know the Honda motorcycle is the leading brand in motorcycle manufacturing in India. The company is planning to launch new models in 2019. Honda CBR400R:

The new 2019 Honda CBR400R is based on the updated CBR500R and shares styling, colour schemes, and even the powertrain but with lower displacement and power output. It gets a 399cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine which pumps out 46bhp at 9,000rpm and 38Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm via a mated 6-speed gearbox. Other than this, there is a slipper clutch and a new exhaust setup designed by Honda Racing. Among onboard features, it gets all LED lighting, fully digital instrument cluster and ABS as standard. Available in three colour options of Grand Prix Red, Pearl Glare White, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic, the motorcycle may be on brand’s card for Indian lineup.

Honda CB125R:

Honda CB125R is a premium naked bike which shares neo-retro styling from its elder sibling the CB1000R. Here in India, it is among Honda’s upcoming bikes in near future. Cool and super smooth in appearance the motorcycle gets alluring features like all LED lighting, tiny underslung exhaust, and steel swingarm as well. Powering for the bike comes from a liquid cooled 124.7cc single cylinder engine that makes out 13.1bhp at 10,000 rpm and peak torque at 8,000rpm. This comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Honda CBR150R, the youngest member in the CBR family has been updated for the 2019 Calendar year. It gets new graphics job including the Repsol racing livery. There’s a larger windscreen, dual LED headlights and LED turn indicators as well on the new 2019 CBR150R. Other new features include petal disc brakes, five-step adjustable front, and rear suspension as well as the instrument cluster. The powering comes from the 149cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which makes out 16.8 BHP and 14.4 Nm of torque via a six-speed gearbox. Here in India, it is expected by 2019 at the price tag around INR 1.40 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Honda CBR650R:

Honda CBR650R is a sport-tourer which has showcased globally in its 2019 model year version at the passed EICMA motorcycle show last year. Here in India, it is slated to hit the country early this year. The 2019 Honda CBR 650R which draws styling inspiration from its elder sibling, the CBR1000RR Fireblade, is the model with comprehensive updates. It now receives larger intake, exhaust system which along with the updated powertrain 649cc liquid-cooled in-line four-cylinder engine supplies an improved performance. The churned power output from the said powertrain stands at 95bhp and 64Nm via a mated six-speed gearbox transmission.

Honda CB 150R:

Honda motorcycle will bring a new sports bike, named Honda CB150R in Indian auto market. It receives a refreshed, muscular and aggressive design. The front of the motorcycle is equipped with two level headlight in a newly designed, sharper fairing. Conventional blinker has been replaced by the LED blinkers that are high mounted, as the same as the previous model CB Unicorn 160. The CB150R receives high mounted handlebar which provides a comfortable riding on the rugged road. The exhaust loses the curvy look for the new dual tone, two-piece unit. Another new welcome change is the fully digital instrument panel.

Honda CBR 500R:

The Honda CBR 500R is middleweight motorcycle that's bodywork inspired by CBR series. The CBR 300R will offer an outstanding performance as it comes with a 286cc engine and PGM-Fuel Injection system that offers outstanding performance. Furthermore, it is blessed with an anti-lock braking system.

Honda CX-01 S:

Honda has unveiled its new model, Honda CX 01 in the Indian auto market. This is a crossover motorcycle which is meant to be an equally capable machine both on and off road. CX 01 attracts the audience by its ultimate looks and designs but the most attractive part of it headlight, which reminds us of the 'Transformers'. This is a better concept in the 160cc bikes. The current version of the sports motorcycle has used a carburetor, which will get replaced by the manufacturer with the FI version. The Pulsar 200 NS FI version will be using the Fuel-Injection configuration incorporated with the very same 199.5cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS FI might be expected to receive ABS braking system as an option.

KTM Upcoming Bikes in India 2018

KTM, this brand is known for its high-performance dirt and adventure bikes. Recently, in the previous year, the company was launched a couple of new sport bike models, and, now, in this current year, is planning to launch some sports bikes - KTM 1290 Super Duke R and KTM 690 Duke. Here is a list of upcoming KTM Bikes in India 2017:

KTM 1050 Adventure, a litre class adventure motorcycle is also expected to be added to the Indian lineup. In the global market, the tourer is the successor of the KTM’s prominent adventure motorcycle, the 990 adventure and will be powered by a 1050cc 75 degree V-twin LC8 engine. The engine is claimed to exhale 95 horsepower comparatively lesser than the other available in the market. Obtaining a clean and minimalistic design, the motorcycle will be furnished with numerous promising hardware components to perform harder onto the harsh and uneven terrains. The cycle parts include spoke wheels, KTM’s Ride Model technology to adjust slippage in the rear wheel. The company is also making different updates in various machines which include things like a smaller windscreen and standard crash bars.

KTM in the upcoming year is going to launch an all-new range of sport touring motorbikes, which includes new KTM Super Adventure R, S, and T. The upcoming Super Adventure R will replace the current 1190 Adventure R, The Super Adventure S will replace the current 1190 Adventure, and the Super Adventure T  will replace the running 1290 Super Adventure. All of the upcoming bikes will be seen powered by the same 1,301cc LC8 V-twin engine, just like the current 1290 Super Adventure sportbike. The engine of these superbikes is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 160 horsepower along with 103 NM of peak torque. Additional specifications of these bikes will include Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) system, complete with cornering ABS and cornering traction control.

The KTM 1290 is a superbike that was showcased by the company at the Auto Expo and scheduled to launch it in 2016. The design is very sharp and sporty, the side profile of the bike is nicely done with scoops, while the angular headlight gives an aggressive look to the bike. It is expected that the KTM 1290 Super Duke R to be launched in 2017. It could be priced around Rs 15.00 lakh.
