Honda CB Hornet 160R

Today, the HMSI has organized the Revfest event to launch its await sports street-fighter bike, Honda CBR650F. On this event the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has also showcased the new compact motorcycle, named CB Hornet 160R in domestic market. Honda India has planned to launch the Hornet in September to November (festival session). The Honda said that Hornet will not replace the CB trigger. likely it will bored out the CB unicorn's engine. The new presented bike gives sporty look and more aggressively style. Honda CB Hornet 160R will launch in Indian automobile market to challenge the FZ series and Suzuki Gixxer.

Design and Look

The Hornet is manufactured with many stylish graphics and new paint scheme which produces decent & sporty look. The motorcycle is incorporated with dual tone mud guard, high mounted handlebar and edgy headlight. The headlamp is made in a diamond shape. The naked touring sporty look bike has incorporated with a muscular fuel tank which holds 13 liter fuel capacity. Split grab rail helps the pillion to descend from the bike. Hornet160R will run with alloy wheels tires. Stepped sits, foot pegs and fuel tank sharp shape make easy riding for rider during riding at high speed. The bike is made with minimum fairing, over all the bike designed with many features which produces awesome look.

The half faired bike is manufactured with advance features which helps to highlight the motorcycle in Indian two wheeler market and these features makes it competitor with its category. CB Hornet160R produces incredible performance as it has incorporated with fully digital instrument console, front and rear disc brakes, tubeless tyre, electric starter, maintenance free batteries and meaty rear tyre.

The motorcycle is delivered the power with help of the 160cc engine but, yet Honda has not declared further details for the engine and power. Hornet has used the same engine of the CB unicorn bike as suspect the new bike is powered by an air-cooled, carburetor unit, single-cylinder and 162.71cc engine which produces the maximum power 14.5bhp at 8000 RPM and maximum torque 14.67Nm at 6000 RPM. The engine is mated with 5 speed gear box which one shift down and 4 shift up.

CB unicorn's sibling just like faired bike is developed under the tubular diamond frame and incorporated with conventional telescopic suspension at front side and rear side semi loaded mono suspension. The bike is occupied with multi-spoke alloy wheels. These all features make riding comfortable for the rider at bad road and high speed. Stepped sits and rear foot pegs give dynamic handling power.

Tail Section

The Honda India has manufactured the CB Hornet160R with a decent look tail-section. The rear view of the bike looks awesome and unique. Tail-section is incorporated with a LED light and two blinker. The LED light gives better attention to the followers and blinker helps safe changing the direction on the road.

HMSI has not declared the price the bike. The expected price of the motorcycle around Rs.75,000-85,000(Ex-showroom). In price the bike again against its rivals and the bike is showcased in the orange color.

Yamaha YZF-R3 India Review

The Japanese Two wheeler company, Yamaha likely to launch a new fire-blade sports bike, named YZF-R3 on August of this current year in Indian market. It is inspired by the YZF-R1. The Yamaha YZF-R3 2015 has been developed for the American and European market and now, it is ready to launch in India whereas the its sibling sports bike, Yamaha R25 will be restricted in the mostly Asian market. Styling and engine of the R3 are borrowed from R25.

Taking about its style, the style and body cues  are borrowed from the R25 bike. Yamaha's new sports bike, R3 has an incredible look as it is inspired by the racing DNA of R series. It is completely a fully-faired motorcycle. The riding quality of the motorcycle is very impressive as it is featured with low mounted handlebars and split seats which offer sporty riding position to the rider. The fuel tank seems bulky which has 15 liter fuel capacity. The front fairing carries two headlights and windscreen. The separated and split seats make riding position more comfortable for the long distance travel. In terms of performance and price, the motorcycle will come in the market to compete with rivals.

Honda Livo 110cc: Time to Live, Time to Livo

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, a name is enough for telling the company's market value and its two wheeler products. The company regularly launches the commuter motorcycles for competing its competitors, this time it brought a Livo (110cc engine). It has fully replaced version of CB twister.

The Livo 110cc bike is available in two variants, Self Drum Alloy and Self Disc Alloy. It carries a strong and attractive sporty features as alloy wheels, large space seat, brake light, red colored suspension springs and chrome heat shield, small exhaust muffler and analogue instrument cluster, which consists of odometer and speedometer. The Honda Livo is powered by a 110cc, single cylinder, air cooled, 4 stroke, SI engine that produces maximum power of 8.2 BHP and 8.63 Nm of torque. The Livo is featured with Honda Eco Tech (HET) that enhances the overall performance and mileage of the motorcycle.

Ducati knows the importance of Indian two wheeler market because the company saws the youth population and their interest in stylish motorcycles and every premium company is planning to stable their business rapidly. As we say that MV Agusta is following the Ducati.

Aprilia Mana 850 GT ABS Review

The Italian motorcycle maker, Aprila, has launched the new version of Aprilia Mana, named Aprilia Mana 850 GT ABS. After knowing about its features, I am so impressed, it is a naked bike, which is featured with an Automatic Transmission (CVT). We can compare it with the rivals Ducati Monster 796 Standard, it has different price tags for different cities in the comparison of other motorcycle in its category.

Liquid cooled, 2-cylinders, 4-valves, 839cc powerful engine provide a maximum power of 76 BHP at 8000 RPM and a maximum torque of 73 NM at 5000 RPM. A stylish logo of  "Aprilia" nicely pasted on the fuel tank. The fuel tank carries a fuel capacity of 17 liters, although reserve fuel capacity is 3.5 liters. Front suspension is upside down-fork, whereas the rear suspension is single- piece aluminum alloy swing-arm. Moreover the bike delivers a mileage of 21 KMPL.

The Aprilai Mana is easy-to-ride with CVT transmission. The motorcycle is featured with an analog and digital instrument console that give the information of speedometer, tachometer, digital fuel gauge, tripmeter, low fuel indicator and low oil indicator. A round shape headlight is placed in well-manner and it has two stunning blinkers which are located on the either side of the headlight. The motorcycle has a front and rear disc brake, whereas the Anti-lock braking system is standard in the motorcycle.

Honda CB1000R ABS Review

The Honda CB1000R ABS is a naked street-fighter that was launched in India in 2009. The naked motorcycle has been designed for sporty riding performance. The CB600F is replaced by CB1000R ABS. And, all the design and body cues are borrowed from the Honda CB600F. The aggressive look comes from its angular headlight, side panels and huge fuel tank. And, the crease lines on the fuel tank adds more beauty in its bulky profile.

The Honda CB1000R ABS is packed with a 998cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine, which delivers a 123.3 BHP of power at 10,000 RPM and 100 NM of torque at 8,000 RPM. The motor is featured with a computer-controlled digital ignition system with 3-D mapping that not only enhance the throttle response but also improved the power output. The engine has been re-tuned with a programmed fuel injection system which is ensured for an excellent throttle response and both low and high RPM performance.

DSK Benelli TNT 1130 Review

The Benelli TNT  R is the flagship offering naked motorcycle from the DSK-Benelli. The TNT 899 and TNT 1130 will be coming in India directly from the DSK Benelli's manufacturing plant which is located in Italy. The DSK Benelli TNT 1130 has made its entry along with three other motorcycle named Benelli TNT 300, Benelli TNT 600i and Benelli TNT. In which, the Benelli TNT 1130 will give a tough competition to the rivals in its category, where Ducati Monster 1200S, Indian Chief Dark Horse, Honda CB1000R and DSK-Benelli TNT 899 are becoming more popular motorcycles in this category. Apart from this, the Italian manufacturer has made an announcement that they will be going to launch a new  naked motorcycle to the Indian market by the end of the current year. The Italian manufacturer is readying itself with its smallest engine sports motorcycle, DSK-Benelli TNT 25. All the three lower models are designed in Italy, built in China and assembled in India.

The DSK Benelli TNT R is a versatile naked street fighter which is featured with a muscular fuel tank, stubby mudguard and bug-shape headlight, all of these features give a striking look to the motorcycle. Triumph Tiger 800 XRx Review

The Triumph Motorcyces has recently launched its two iconic motorcycles in India named Triumph Tiger 800 XRx and Triumph Tiger 800 XCx. The Tiger XRx is priced at INR 11.6 lakh, while the Tiger 800 XCx is being sold on INR 12.7 INR. And, the company has also introduced the base model as Tiger 800 XR which retails at Rs. 10.6 INR (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). These new additions sit alongside the 800XC and Explorer models in the Tiger range.

Let’s take a round on the characteristic of the Triumph Tiger 800 XRx, the Tiger 800 XRx is the best sports-cum-adventure motorcycles that comes loaded with an array of modern technology and a powerful engine.

Bajaj Pulsar RS200: New Bajaj Bike in India

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is the most awaited motorcycle which has now made its appearance over the official website of the company. The motorcycle is launched in the Indian auto market. The fully faired motorcycle will be the fastest Pulsar yet.

The motorcycle has aggressive and muscular styling which receives a projector headlight, LED pilot light, muscular fuel tank and LED tail light. The clip-on handlebar and rear set foot pegs provide a sporty riding stance, while the kerb weight of 151 KG makes it very comfortable for the beginning riders. The motorcycle is 2060mm long, 750mm wide and 1160mm tall, while the ground clearance has been noted at 165mm, which is 2mm less than Pulsar 200NS.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 motorcycle has also received a fuel injection system to make the Pulsar RS200 more powerful. Moreover, the machine powered by the same 199cc four-stroke, single cylinder and liquid-cooled engine which returns a smooth power output. The fuel injected engine produces 24.4 PS power at 9,500 RPM and 18.6 Nm of torque at 8,000 RPM. The power output is very similar to the Pulsar 200NS.


The motorcycle gets a 280mm front disc brake and 230mm rear disc brake, while the suspension duties are performed by a front telescopic suspension and single spring damper at the rear, while the dual-channel anti-lock braking system as an optional.

The motorcycle is powered by a 500cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke and liquid-cooled engine that returns a maximum power of 27.2 BHP at 5,250 RPM and makes 41.1 NM of torque at 4,000 RPM. The engine is featured with a Keihin electronic fuel injection that reduces the emission power to enhance the performance and fuel economy. The motor comes mated to a five speed gearbox via a wet, multiple-disc clutch.

For a safe and comfortable ride, the Classic Desert Storm 500 is featured with a 280mm disc, two piston caliper brakes at the front and 153mm drum brake at rear, the brakes are quite impressive for an adequate braking. The motorcycle has a telescopic 35mm forks at the front and a twin gas charged shock absorbers with five adjustable preload at the rear, both the suspensions are very strong that gives maximum confidence in the corners.
