Today, the HMSI has organized the Revfest event to launch its await sports street-fighter bike, Honda CBR650F. On this event the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has also showcased the new compact motorcycle, named CB Hornet 160R in domestic market. Honda India has planned to launch the Hornet in September to November (festival session). The Honda said that Hornet will not replace the CB trigger. likely it will bored out the CB unicorn's engine. The new presented bike gives sporty look and more aggressively style. Honda CB Hornet 160R will launch in Indian automobile market to challenge the FZ series and Suzuki Gixxer.
The half faired bike is manufactured with advance features which helps to highlight the motorcycle in Indian two wheeler market and these features makes it competitor with its category. CB Hornet160R produces incredible performance as it has incorporated with fully digital instrument console, front and rear disc brakes, tubeless tyre, electric starter, maintenance free batteries and meaty rear tyre.
The motorcycle is delivered the power with help of the 160cc engine but, yet Honda has not declared further details for the engine and power. Hornet has used the same engine of the CB unicorn bike as suspect the new bike is powered by an air-cooled, carburetor unit, single-cylinder and 162.71cc engine which produces the maximum power 14.5bhp at 8000 RPM and maximum torque 14.67Nm at 6000 RPM. The engine is mated with 5 speed gear box which one shift down and 4 shift up.
CB unicorn's sibling just like faired bike is developed under the tubular diamond frame and incorporated with conventional telescopic suspension at front side and rear side semi loaded mono suspension. The bike is occupied with multi-spoke alloy wheels. These all features make riding comfortable for the rider at bad road and high speed. Stepped sits and rear foot pegs give dynamic handling power.
The Honda India has manufactured the CB Hornet160R with a decent look tail-section. The rear view of the bike looks awesome and unique. Tail-section is incorporated with a LED light and two blinker. The LED light gives better attention to the followers and blinker helps safe changing the direction on the road.
Honda's upcoming bike, Hornet160R to be launch with many safety features such as suspension, brakes, rear LED light & headlight and blinkers. The suspension helps rider on the bad road during rider. The bike will come with disc brakes on both side which enhances the baking power. Rear LED light attract the follower's eyes and the front light gives the better visibility on the road in night riding. Blinker as we know helps for safe turn on the road.
HMSI has not declared the price the bike. The expected price of the motorcycle around Rs.75,000-85,000(Ex-showroom). In price the bike again against its rivals and the bike is showcased in the orange color.
