Mahindra Gusto is among the most anticipated scooters in the industry which boasts a 109.6cc engine crafted in complete aluminium housing. This engine generates 8BHP of power at 8400RPM while the torque figure follows 8.5Nm at 7000RPM. The scooter follows the footsteps of the elder siblings from the company's bench. The design and dynamics of the vehicle are not that attractive that the competing contenders are wearing, but they are impressive. The boomerang shaped headlight and diverse colored front grill makes the scooter look distinct and adds the feel of glam to the overall appearance.
Gusto holds wide seating area and broad front platform to holds good amount of luggage. Mahindra has not worked on the graphics scene of the scooter as it does not have any such stuff. Still, the ride has a good character and feel. The suspension and brakes indulged in this scooter are efficient enough for city traffic. Both front and rear wheels are crafted with 130mm drum brakes. The suspension unit at the front is telescopic while the rear houses a monoshock. The competition for the Gusto is fierce and will be facing the same from Honda, Suzuki and Hero MotoCorp vehicles, which are having well established scooters like Activa, Maestro and Access etc.
