Bajaj Avenger Street 220 VS Hyosung Aquila 250

Design and Style

In term of design and style, the recently launched Bajaj Avenger 220 street comes with a round headlight, clear lens indicators and new graphic design along with Avenger logo that give a stunning look to the bike. The Avenger Street 220 is featured with low slung seat and low mounted handlebar that offer excellent cruising experience to the rider. The matte black color scheme along with chrome work gives classy look to the Avenger Street 220.



On the other end, the Hyosung Aquila 250 is one of the renowned names in the cruiser segment. The flashy paint scheme along with lots of chrome work on the entire body gives an eye catching classy look to the motorcycle. The Aquila 250 is featured with a round halogen headlight, crystal-clear turn indicators, LED tail light and silver polished alloys. Power and Performance

If we talk about the power, the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is powered by a 220cc, single cylinder, four valves, oil cooled and SOHC engine. The 220cc motor delivers a maximum power of 19bhp at 8400 rpm and 17.5Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed transmission.

Power and Performance


The Hysoung Aquila 250 comes featured with a 249cc, two-inline cylinder, 8-valves, oil cooled DOHC engine. The 249cc motor makes it able to generate a maximum power of 26.6 bhp at 9500 rpm and 21.37Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission.

Instrument Cluster

The Avenger Street 220 is equipped with analog-digital instrument cluster that carries speedometer, trip meter, odometer, fuel gauge and low battery indicator.



The Hyosung Aquila 250 carries digital speedometer, fuel gauge- analogue and digital both, analogue-tachometer and a trip meter on the instrument console. The odometer is not present on its console.

Dimensions and Ergonomics

Both the motorcycles have dynamic ergonomics and excellent low ground clearance that make the ride quality very comfortable and hassle-free. The Avenger Street 220 has a kreb weight of 150kg and the fuel capacity of 14ltr. The dimension of the bike measures an overall length of 2177mm, width of 801mm and the height of 1070mm with the ground clearance of 169mm.



The Hysoung Aquila 250 keeps the kreb weight of 155kg and the fuel capacity of 14ltr. It measures 2282mm in length, 875mm in width and 1096mm in height with the ground clearance of 155mm.

Safety components

The necessary factor for the rider is safety, the cruiser motorcycles are featured strong braking system and suspension. The Avenger street 220 comes with a telescopic suspension at the front and the twin shock absorber at the rear. The braking duty has been performed by the 260mm disc at the front and 130mm drum at the rear.



The Hysoung Aquila 250 performs the duty of braking with the support of disc at the front and drum brakes at the rear. It has a 41mm conventional telescopic forks at the front and the dual shock absorber at the rear.

Price



The style, looks and cruising ability of both the bikes are magnificent. The price of the Hyosung Aquila 250 is approx. 3.4 times more than the Avenger Street 220. The Hyosung Aquila 250 exists in three colors- Red, Black and White at the price of Rs 2,91,600 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the Avenger Street 220 comes in Matte Black color at the price of Rs.84,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
