The India’s largest two wheeler manufacturer, Hero Moto Corp has launched new Xtreme Sports 2015, which is now ready to directly compete with the brand's flagship motorcycle names Pulsar 150. Both are the premium bikes that are known by its sporty look, performance and fuel economy.

Hero Xtreme Sports Details

The Hero Xtreme Sports is recently launched by the company in its Xtreme series. The company has made some cosmetic changes to give it a sporty look. The Xtreme Sports has received new ultra stylish angular headlight and tail light, which looks very stunning, while the engine immobilizer, side scoops, updated fuel tank and split seats adds more beauty in its appealing. The clip on handlebars and footpegs are placed in well manner for a comfortable headlight.
In terms of technical specifications, the Xtreme Sports comes equipped with a powerful engine which is blessed with ATFT Powerhouse technology. The engine generates a healthy power and torque such as the 149cc four-stroke single cylinder and air-cooled engine returns a 15.6 BHP of power at 8,500 RPM and 12.8 Nm of torque 6,500 RPM.  The torque of this motorcycle is significantly more than the Pulsar 150. The Xtreme Sports has a clip on handlebars and split seats that will enhance the ride quality. It gets a front and rear disc brake, which is pretty much standard for a smooth and safe braking. Furthermore, the motorcycle is blessed with a front telescopic hydraulic suspension and rear adjustable reservoir swing arm. Some of its important features are mentioned below:

 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Details

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is the best selling bike that broke many records in terms of performance and style in its category. The Pulsar 150 looks very aggressive with its wolf eyed headlamp, while the side scoops give an aerodynamic look to the motorcycle. The Pulsar 150 gets new dual shade paint scheme which adds more beauty in its look. It has a single unit instead of split seats, the seat is standard but not impressive. The handling department of this bike is very comfortable than any other motorcycles in its class, while the sitting position is comfortable for the rider and pillion. The bike houses a front telescopic suspension and rear nitrox shock absorber that gives more confidence to the riders at the corner. Furthermore, the Pulsar 150 has rear drum brake instead of disc brake.

In terms of Powertrain, the Pulsar 150 is powered by a 150cc engine that returns unmatched power outputs. The engine is blessed with a Bajaj’s patented technology such as ExhausTEC Technology and Digital Twin Spark Ignition (DTS-I). The powerful technology makes it capable of delivering a maximum power of 15.6 BHP at 9,000 RPM, while it gives a 12.5 NM of torque at 6,500 RPM. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission that transmits power to the rear-wheel via chain drive.

I can see many of my friends having this bike they are getting the mileage of 60kmpl but for this, you have to drive bike carefully and maintain speed around 60 to 80 and don't accelerate too much then this is possible to get good mileage overall this one is better in mileage which can afford anyone.
